An opportunity has arisen for a Field Based Restoration Technician to join our regional restoration team working on both domestic and commercial properties. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing the best solution to all water, fire and accidental damage instructions and delivering excellent customer service to all clients.
Ideally applicants will have knowledge in the following areas:
Building construction, mould/bacteria, water and fire, accidental damage restoration, psychometrics, understanding of profit and loss. Ideally you should be BDMA qualified.
You must have the following:
Eligible to work in the UK, full UK Driving Licence, able to pass a security check (no criminal convictions), able to pass a credit check (no bankruptcy or outstanding CCJs), be computer literate.  Ideally you will be educated to at least GCSE level.
Duties include:
Moisture surveys and drying techniques as required. 
Attending new jobs allocated by the manager.
Identifying and following through on new business opportunities in the area. 
Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered to.
Prepare equipment for use and ensure instruments used are calibrated.
Ensure company van is equipped, kept clean and serviced.
Liaise with Customers, Loss Adjusters, Builders, Insurance Companies and Policy Holders.
Ensuring 'live time' inputting of reports are in line with quality procedures.
Identify potential asbestos containing materials.
Ensure of own and others Health and Safety.
Supervising Sub-contractors or additional Technicians/Labourers.
Reviewing and making recommendations for new methods and techniques with Team Manager sharing knowledge and experience.
