Project Overview
Divide 1 large nursery class room into 2 equal sized teaching areas. The vision of the school was to provide additional teaching resource to provide children with more one to one tuition.
The Works Carried Out
FSH Group mobilised a team at relative short notice to complete the following works:
- Installation of new a stud partition, complete with additional support to accommodate the fixing of interactive white boards and audio visual equipment. The partition was boarded with 15mm fire board and fully plastered.
- Installation of additional LST radiators and upgrading of existing radiators to LST type.
- Installation of energy efficient LED panels controlled by a 3 scene Dali dimmable intelligent lighting control system.
- Installation of emergency lighting system to comply with BS5266.
- Installation of additional automatic fire detection to comply with BS5839.
- Installation of new split compartment dado trunking system incorporating power, data and audio visual controls and outlets.
- Installation of a Sound field hearing loop system.
- Manufacture and installation of bespoke store cupboards and wet area sink and store cupboards. All new plumbing supplies and waste pipes installed to accommodate the new wet area.
- Full decoration works throughout the classroom areas and corridor.
- Installation of replacement ceiling tiles.
- Removal of existing carpets and vinyl floors, installation of new floor screed to level all areas and installation of new altro vinyl flooring throughout.
