From nightmare scenario to dream home…

Whatever the scale, a flood in the home is always a distressing event. When flood waters engulfed a Newcastle bungalow, not a single room was spared. The water caused extensive damage to the living areas, kitchen, wet room and three bedrooms, and every internal wall was damaged beyond repair.

Because the effects of the flood were so severe, the owner decided to make the best of a crisis. In addition to the insured losses, he wanted to pay for additional upgrades to the property’s layout and fittings so that his refurbished house would become his ideal home.  We worked closely with both insurer and property owner to make sure that everyone was completely happy with the outcome.
