As a busy construction company working on many projects every day, health and safety is pivotal in everything we do. The wellbeing of our customers, employees, associates and all those who enter our working sites is paramount.
We endeavour to develop a culture that refuses to tolerate threats to health and safety. No matter how urgent the task, it must always be done safely.
As a responsible and professional company, we will provide the knowledge, tools, procedures and systems that enable our people and teams to work effectively and safely. FSH people will remain safety-aware at all times, looking out for themselves, their colleagues, customers and for others.
Our health and safety policy is regularly reviewed and acts as a clear guide for every FSH team member, whatever their work and wherever it takes them.

Safeguarding
Our work frequently brings us into contact with children as well as vulnerable people of all ages. We’re always aware of our particular responsibility to the young and the vulnerable, and all our people are trained in safeguarding issues and procedures during their induction process.
Sustainability
We work hard to reduce our environmental impact in a number of ways, including:
- robust waste management processes
- a ‘green’ procurement strategy
- cutting our carbon footprint by reducing fuel and energy usage wherever possible (eg through vehicle tracking systems

All our people are DBS checked to make certain that we do not expose members of the public to risk.

Encouraging progression at every level from apprentices to senior management, we offer training opportunities both in-house and externally.
